CCD is a non-profit voluntary organization working in Gajapati District of Odisha State, India working for the socio-economic empowerment of the tribals, disadvantaged and vulnerable sections of the communities prioritizing on women, children and persons with disabilities since 1992. The focus areas of CCD is Natural Resource Management & Sustainable Livelihood promotion, water & sanitation, Reproductive Child Health, Women Empowerment & Promotion of Micro Entreprenuership, Child Rights, Good Governance, Community Based Rehabilitation of Persons with Disability.
CCD has organized World Sight Day and White Cane Day at Paralakhemundi, Gajapati district with the support of Sight Savers India to encourage the persons with visual impaired and on the occasion 31 White Canes were distributed to PVIs.
Capacity Budilding Training to GKS members
With the partnership and support of CARE-ORISSA and NRHM, Gajapati, CCD has organized 40 batches training to 1588 membes of 300 GKS in Gumma, Gosani and Kasinagar Block of Gajapati District
