ORISSA TRIBAL EMPOWERMENT & LIVELIHOOD PRGRAMME

OTELP is playing a major role in creating opportunities for sustainable livelihood promotion through Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock and other seasonal vegetable cultivation. CCD is working in 35 tribal dominated villages of Gumma Block in collaboration with ITDA, Gajapati covering 1905 households accessing the benefits of OTELP. Ridge to Vally treatment is going on for soil and water conservation measures and to improve the ground water level through this programme with active community participation. Major emphasis was laid on enhancing the livelihood,Capacity building of the community, Improved Agriculture, Horticulture, Irrigation, drining water and sanitation. Various Water Harvesting and Soil & Water conservation structures are constructed in Gumma Block.
